USA shred Australia with end-to-end try at HSBC SVNS Perth

Day one of the HSBC SVNS World Series Perth event is well and truly underway with several fixtures in the books.

As ever with the high-paced, shortened version of the game, the matches have seen end-to-end action throughout, with a raft of fixtures coming down to the final moments.

One such fixture saw hosts Australia and the USA clash in what was a tense affair, with the two sides trading blows throughout.

Coming down to the final play, it would be the Americans that would emerge victorious as they dazzled their hosts for a long-range score.

A round later and the USA would see off Ireland 26 – 7 to keep their hot start to the competition alive.
