USA Star Lucky To Avoid Red For Horrific Challenge

The United States took a major step forward in their bid to compete at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

The Eagles romped to an easy 68 – 14 over Kenya which sets up a showdown with Portugal for the final qualifying spot.

Despite dominating the fixture from start to finish, the US were shown a yellow card for a rather sloppy and dangerous clear-out attempt from secondrow Siaosi Mahoni that could’ve done serious harm to his Kenyan counterpart.

In a rather lucky escape Mahoni was only shown a yellow and ultimately didn’t affect his sides chances.
