Few pundits gave the Wallabies a real shot at victory over a high-flying France in Paris.
Off the back of a rather disappointing Rugby Championship, the Wallabies came to Europe in search of a fresh start.
Things got off to a great start with a narrow one-point victory over Scotland with whom they have built an intense rivalry with since the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
In Paris they went up a level and pushed the hosts all the way before succumbing to a narrow 30 – 29 loss. (Match report to follow).
Highlighting the Wallabies endeavour was this eye-popping, end-to-end try that sets the Stade de France alight.
Started and finished by centre Lalakai Foketi, the score reminded the Rugby World that this Wallabies side is no push over less that a year out from the World Cup.
🤯 Outrageous Australia!
