Crusaders winger Manasa Mataele produced probably the most spectacular offload of the Super Rugby season against the Hurricanes on Saturday.

The 22-year-old looked destined for the touchline when he somehow kept every limb off the ground and flicked a blind pass inside to Richie Mo’unga who scored the Crusaders’ second try.
Mataele was born in Fiji and made his Super Rugby debut in 2017 for the Crusaders and has now accumulated more than 20 appearances for the Christchurch club.
The Crusaders went on to win the match 38-22, leaving them top of the New Zealand conference after two rounds.
