Back in 2018 Brazil hosted the Maori All Blacks in Sao Paulo for the first time in history and before the game even kicked off it became a memorable occasion.
The visitors performed the Haka in front of a raucous crowd at Cicero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium and Brazil stood firm, linking arms in response.
The Maori All Blacks had the likes of Super Rugby stars Ash Dixon, Akira Ioane, Otere Black and Rob Thompson in the starting lineup but Brazil put in a physical performance as they went down 3-35.
But Brazil weren’t the first team to respond to the Haka. Several other international sides over the years have adopted their own formations, refused to move and even turned around while New Zealand performed the Haka.
