Springboks director of rugby Rassie Erasmus was filmed at home celebrating South Africa’s win over the All Blacks on Saturday in just his underwear.
Erasmus looked like he was enjoying a beer while watching the game in his living room when his daughter filmed his hilarious reaction to Elton Jantjies’ match-winning kick.

The 48-year-old did not travel with the Boks to the Gold Coast because he is currently awaiting a disciplinary hearing with World Rugby over his misconduct during South Africa’s three-match Test series with the British & Irish Lions tour earlier this Summer.
Erasmus was officially charged by the organisation for releasing a video in which he criticised the quality of the officiating between his side and the Lions.
It is thought that the delayed hearing process is due to members of the committee being based all around the world and therefore a combination of Covid-19 restrictions and time differences are preventing a date being set.
Erasmus also came under criticism for his role as a water boy during the Test series which got him access to the playing field, which was seen as an advantage to many. This influence appears to have filtered into the rest of the coaching staff as Saturday’s water boy was told off by referee Matt Carley for complaining to his linesman during the Test match.
Clearly the former Springboks head coach and international back rower has walked a fine line in the eyes of fans and pundits throughout 2021, but nobody can deny the excellent work he’s done in recent years, particularly leading South Africa to World Cup glory in 2019.
His half time team talk during the final against England was inspiring and his patriotism towards South Africa is clear. During his playing career he earned 36 caps for the Boks and played a key role in their 1999 campaign which saw them get knocked out by the eventual champions Australia.
