Faf de Klerk put in this huge try saving for Sale against Exeter at the weekend in the dying moments.
Exeter welcomed Sale to Sandy Park last Sunday in round 19 of the 2021/22 Premiership Season. Exeter came out on 7 by points in the end. The score finished 19-12 in the end. Sale scored the last final try of the game in the 78th minute to secure a losing bonus point when Curtis Landon went over the line. Fly-half, AJ MacGinty was unable to add the extras.

De Klerk read the attack very well, lined up the tackle and executed it to perfection. He got his technique spot on Following a big hit before the previous phase,, substitute prop James Kenny, threw a dummy from the base of the ruck and ran down field. Kenny made a good run down the field inside Sale’s 22. Without de Klerk’s intervention, Kenny would have likely scored. It was serious work rate from de Klerk to track back.
