Australia international Bernard Foley was carded for a late hit on All Blacks and Suntory Sungoliath star Beauden Barrett during Saturday’s Top League game in Japan.
The fly halves clashed regularly on the international stage in years gone by and Kubota Spears’ Foley left his mark on Barrett with a cheeky late hit.
Foley followed through after attempting to charge down Barrett’s kick, leaving the two-time World Rugby player of the year on his back in pain.
The Australian was sent to the sin bin which contributed to their 33-26 defeat, maintaining Suntory’s unbeaten start to the season.
