Bay of Plenty hooker Kurt Eklund showed an impressive turn of pace, footwork and footballing skills to set up a fantastic try in the Mitre 10 Cup against North Harbour on Sunday.

Eklund took advantage of an overthrown line out in the last play of the first half and charged down field breaking the first tackle.
The front rower then stepped the North Harbour winger and chipped the ball back in field for his teammate to regather.
Eklund’s play eventually led to a try for Bay of Plenty, who went on to win the game 19-27, leaving them second in the championship table after four rounds.
