Following a narrow loss to Fiji at Twickenham on Saturday, the Barbarians headed to Brazil for a once-off match, and came out trumps with a 47-22 win last night. The Barbarians scored seven tries in a match played in good spirits in Sao Paulo.
The invitational side led just 19-15 at halftime, but kicked into gear in the second half to run away with the contest.
Tries were scored on the night by Campese Ma’afu, Bautista Ezcurra, David Havili, and a brace each for Angus Cottrell and Jano Vermaak.
