Italy legend Sergio Parisse produced an incredible cross-field kick to assist a try for Toulon in Saturday’s Top 14 game against Brive.
The 37-year-old number eight received the ball at first receiver following a brilliant attacking phase by the home side and executed a perfect kick to winger Erwan Dridi for the try.
Toulon’s build up play was fantastic and as scrum half Baptiste Serin looked set to run the ball over the line, he lost balance and stumbled to the ground.
However the French international somehow pulled off a fantastic offload to keep the ball alive before recycling possession to Parisse at fly half despite completely falling over at the back of the ruck.
As well as producing this ridiculous kick, Parisse also played a key role in Dridi’s other try in the first half with a wonderful one-handed offload in midfield and Toulon went on to win the game 35-19 at Stade Mayol.
Parisse has represented Italy an incredible 142 times throughout his illustrious career and played more than 250 games for Stade Français before joining Toulon in 2019.
