Antoine Dupont’s Toulouse recaptured the top spot in the Top 14 ahead of La Rochelle’s clash with Bordeaux-Begles a 22 – 14 win over Pau in what was a tense clash.
Lining up their run of form with the return of Antoine Dupont, Toulouse have firmly put themselves back in line with Bordeaux and La Rochelle as favourites to take out the title once again this season.
Adding to his highlight reel with an incredible behind-the-back pass, Dupont once again proved that he is Rugby’s ‘beautiful mind’ where he does things that other players simply can’t.
Whilst Dupont was once again hogging the headlines, Pau backrow Sacha Zegueur had the moment of the match with an insane moment of bravery.
As the action took place fifty meters up the pitch, Zegueur received treatment from the medics.
Just as he was getting seen to, Italian international Ange Capuozzo nabbed an intercept and began to race towards the Pau try line with seemingly nobody ahead.
That was, of course, until Zegueur emerged from the ground like a Pennywise popping out of the drain and smashed the flying Toulouse winger.
