The Italians had never won away from home in 6 Nations history until today’s game against Wales. They also snapped a 36 games losing streak.
A late try to Italian winger Edoardo Padovani with only 1:30 left of the match sealed a famous victory for the Italains. The try was set up by young Italian fullback Ange Capuozzo, through a scintillating counter attacking break. In only his 2nd test match, the 71kg prodigy proved rugby really is a game for all sizes. He broke straight through the Welsh defensive line, before beating Welsh halfback Kieran Hardy with some beautiful footwork.
