One of the major drawbacks to the lockdown in many countries right now is the restriction on available exercise. Whether that is running outside for a limited time only or the closure of all gyms, more and more people are forced to workout at home.
Thankfully, there are plenty of volunteers to help us find the right alternative, with the latest coming from Leinster Rugby’s Strength and Conditioning coach, Joe McGinley.
McGinley, who also works with the St Vincent’s Senior Gaelic football team in Dublin, has put together a video with advice and workout tips to keep in shape during the lockdown period.
The video and interview was created with the help of the Off The Ball team in Ireland and gives proactive steps to make sure people stay healthy and fit for as long as the restrictions and closures are in place.
