Munster scrum half Craig Casey threw this ridiculous offload in Munster’s win over Edinburgh last Friday.
Munster saw off Edinburgh at Thomond Park last Friday night. The game saw Ireland star Simon Zebo score a hat trick of tries as Munster secured a bonus point win over Edinburgh. Munster ran out 34-20 winners over Edinburgh at Thomond Park. This win moves Munster up to third place in the URC table behind only two other Irish provinces in Leinster and Ulster.
Zebo bagged his first try right on the stroke of halftime, off a well worked overlap. Following a nice break from Munster fullback Mike Haley, Zebo finished having beaten Edinburgh centre, Mark Bennett to the tryline. Flyhalf Ben Healy set up Zebo for his third on the 76th minute having drawn two defenders putting Zebo in space down the touchline.
However fans only had to wait six minutes into the game to see this ridiculous piece of skill from Craig Casey. Munster contest and win Edinburgh’s lineout inside the Munster half. The ball goes loose and Casey gathers the ball and attempts to keep it in play. Once he gathers, he switches the ball from his right hand to his left and throws a superb one-handed, out the back offload to winger Calvin Nash.
This was a serious piece of skill from the 22 year old scrum half. Take a bow Craig Casey!
An absolute peach of an offload from Craig Casey here.
Superb skill.
Great lineout steal from Jean Kleyn too. #Munster #URC pic.twitter.com/KMfFGRQlIx
