One of his biggest contributions to the final came late on when he provided the assist for winger Cheslin Kolbe to score the decisive try in the corner.
The 27-year-old recently announced his decision to commit to the Stormers in Super Rugby meaning Springboks fans can look forward to plenty more caps from the big man.
