Sale Sharks announced the departure of Faf de Klerk in a brilliant video online.
Sale Sharks have really stepped up their TikTok game in the last few weeks. Just last week, Sale announced the signing of speedster Tom O’Flaherty from Exeter ahead of the 2022/23 season. They initially broke the news in the usual channels with graphics on platforms on Twitter and Instagram. However they took a different and brilliant approach on TikTok. Similarly the news broke that Springbok duo Faf de Klerk and Lood de Jager would be leaving the club ahead of the new season. The news came as a shock to some fans, and it is likely de Klerk will move to play his rugby in Japan next season.
