Ireland took on Wales in the opening round of the TikTok Women’s Six Nations last Saturday. Wales came away 27-19 winners with a late fightback to seal an opening win for the visitors.
There was a record breaking crowd at the RDS for this important clash as Ireland took on Wales. Over 6100 spectators took to Ballsbridge in Dublin to watch a fantastic game of rugby in the March spring sunshine.

Ireland led 14-5 at halftime courtesy of tries from Amiee Leigh Murphy-Crowe and then one just on the half hour mark from Linda Djougang. The Djougang try was set up from a sublime offload from Ireland lock Sam Monaghan, which was a beauty from out the back door.

However, second half tries in a valiant Welsh effort from Jasmine Joyce, Donna Rose and Hannah Jones sealed the win for Wales in a thriller on the opening weekend.
