Teddy Thomas has serious speed to burn.
Racing 92 took on Biarritz in the Top14 last weekend. The La Defense Arena in Paris was the venue for the round 23 clash. The remaining scheduled league fixtures are beginning to come to a close as the knockout stages of the Top 14 nears.
Racing beat Biarritz by a comfortable scoreline of 40-7 in the end. After that win Racing currently sit in 5th place in the league table while Biarritz sit in last. Racing will look to hold out their place inside the top 6 and advance onto the knockout rounds while Biarritz are almost dead set to return to the Pro D2 by relegation.
Teddy Thomas came away with a brace of tries from the game. His first came in the 58th minute of play, set up from two beautiful offloads, one from Virimi Vakatawa sucking in multiple defenders putting Ben Volavola in space, and then Volavola with the flick of the wrists out the back door on the inside putting Thomas in under the sticks.
Thomas then got his second in the 71st minute which originated from his own 5 metre line. He showed serious gas to finish, check it out below.
