The 33-year-old has been recalled into the squad by Wayne Pivac and will play blindside flanker alongside Justin Tipuric and Taulupe Faletau in the back row.
The Ospreys man has played 64 times for Wales since making his debut in 2009 and was regarded as one of the game’s best ‘chop tacklers’ during his prime.
The following five-minute montage demonstrates the raw power and brilliant tackling technique of Lydiate, which also earned him three British & Irish Lions caps on the 2013 tour to Australia.
