France and Toulouse star Romain Ntamack was stretchered off the pitch during Saturday’s Top 14 semi-final against Bordeaux after suffering a horrible head clash.
The 22-year-old was hit around the head by Bordeaux centre Ulupano Seuteni mid way through the second half at Stade Pierre Mauroy which left Ntamack motionless on the ground.
The French international was stretchered off but gave a thumbs up to reassure the crowd that he was conscious after the nasty incident.
Seuteni was shown a red card for the tackle as it was direct contact to the head without mitigation and it appears unlikely Ntamack will play a part in the final next weekend against La Rochelle.
Ntamack contributed with an early try before being forced off the pitch in the second half but his try helped Toulouse to a 24-21 win in Lille.
