Ulster Rugby rounded out an incredible opening weekend of BKT United Rugby with a dramatic late try to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against the Glasgow Warriors.
Leading until the 84th minute, the champions appeared to have done enough to repel their hosts who despite retaining possession initially struggled to make in-roads.
Yet as the saying goes ‘good things come to those who wait’, Ulster’s persistence would pay off as scrumhalf Dave Shanahan pounced for the winning try.
The win is a major feather in the cap of new Ulster boss Richie Murphy who has pleaded with fans to be patient with his new look squad.
Should they keep up performances like this then expectations in Belfast will continue to rise.
