Wales forward Cai Devine ran 70 metres to deny France’s Jonathan Laugel an almost certain try in the Dubai 7s.
Laugel had a clear run to the line from inside his own half and in the act of scoring the try, the Welshman dived at Laugel’s feet to hold the ball up over the line.

Devine’s miracle try-saving play was still not enough to win the game, with France running away 38-17 victors in the quarter finals of the Challenge Trophy.
Dubai marks the first round of the 2018/19 World Rugby Sevens Series and South Africa enter the competition reigning champions.
Round two of the series will take place in Cape Town, home of the champions next weekend.
