Four changes have been made to the All Blacks side that narrowly lost to South Africa last weekend as head coach Scott Robertson looks to re-build belief in his squad.
Winger Caleb Clarke sits this test out after suffering a back injury in last week’s clash, replaced by Mark Tele’a, while Sevu Reece takes Will Jordan’s place on the other wing. Jordan will be repositioned into fullback where he plays for the Crusaders, while Beauden Barrett returns to the bench.
Chiefs Wallace Sititi steps in to replace Ethan Blackadder on the flank after complaints of a tight hamstring keep the Crusader watching on this week.
Cortez Ratima steps in at halfback, demoting TJ Perenara to the bench, joined by back-row player Luke Jacobson.
“It’s been great to feel the support in Cape Town this week,” said head coach Scott Robertson.
“We’re looking forward to playing in a city with a rich rugby history and deep support for the All Blacks.
“TJ and Beauden will add significant experience and leadership when they run out and the 23 selected will put in a performance our fans both here in Cape Town and at home in New Zealand will be proud of.”
