Young lock leaves runner with all sorts of regret after brutal sounding tackle

As we head towards a new season up north and some exciting upcoming developments on RD, here is a quick clip of a bone-crunching hit by 19-year-old second rower, Matt Holmes.

The Oaklands College bruiser lined up and demolished his unfortunate victim with a hit that could be heard around the ground. It looked chest high, but directly in front of the referee and with a clear effort to wrap his arms, it was a fair and uncompromising tackle. 

The poor victim on the receiving end might be more careful about who he runs at in future.
